Saadh Sangat Ji,

With Guru jis Kirpa there is going to be a women only event/workshop on Sat 23rd June 3pm-6pm.

A bit about the organisers:

As sevadars behind Kaurs Corner, we are all practicing Amritdhari Female Gursikhs. who are here to support the Kaurs out there with their spiritual journeys – and in turn, you help us. It is our responsibility to ensure that we know who we are and where we come from – and our purpose. We all have fulltime jobs and families of our own and work together as a family to organise camps, veechaar sessions, trips, inspirational talks, charity events, Kirtans and lots more. There is no one person behind this seva, it is achieved as a team.

And a bit about their mission:

Our mission is to understand, as women, what we can bring to the world. Using Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as our guide, we want to interact with females of all ages and stages of spirituality to learn more about how we can develop in our Sikhi. What we can contribute to the panth? And the best way to become strong independent Kaurs of this century.

We would like this event to be a stepping stone to bring our amritdhari and non amritdhari sisters together so they can support each other to grow as strong, confident Sikh women. The key to the Sikh nations survival and success lies in the hands of our women and the mothers of the future. This event has been organised especially for you to provide your support and to show our appreciation for the daughters of Guru Gobind Singh, the Kaurs, Our sisters.

We hope this event will lead to greater understanding and interaction between Sikh women in the area and lead to regular meetings of Sikh women to support each other.

Benti to the Amritdhari sisters to get behind this event and try to make the most of the opportunity to get involved in seva and help others on their spiritual paths.

Please note if you require any help with transport or childcareto enable participation in this event then please contact UJAAGARKAUR@GMAIL.COM and we will try and help.
