We received great feedback about the last upload featuring Bhai Surjit Singh Ji speaking at an Anand Karaj, so with this in mind we have another recent recording, again featuring Bhai Surjit Singh. Bhai Sahib once again talks about the importance of Bani and Amrit, and also the etiquette observed during the Anand Karaj ceremony.

Next weekend there will be another Sikh Family Camp at Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Bradford! We are catering for the whole family, children of all ages, plus parents and adults.
For children there will lots of exciting things to do, including bouncy castles, giant inflatable slide, elimination run and some surprises too!
The aim of the camp is to engage the whole family with the teachings of the Guru and learn how to improve our lives by becoming better Sikhs.
For parents and adults we’re holding workshops in both Punjabi and English on both days.
To take part, please arrive before 10am on both days to register your family. The camp is completely free of charge.

We would like to inform you that this Sunday, the world-famous Sukrit Trust will be doing a special extended programme at the Gurdwara Sahib.
The Sukrit Trust specialises in connecting students with Gurbani and getting young people in Punjab into employment. They have numerous projects around the world.
They will be doing a programme that comprises of Kirtan and Katha from 10.30am to around 2pm this Sunday 17th July.
It is our humble request that all the sangat attends this event

We have uploaded a recent recording during an Anand Kaaraj at the Gurdwara Sahib . Bhai Surjit Singh Ji talks about the importance of the spiritual journey a couple makes together in their quest to ultimately merge with Vaheguru. The speech touches upon the commitment we should be making to Vaheguru prior to this ceremony. Also Bhai Sahib talks about the status of women in Sikhi and how important it is in today’s society to bring up our children in Sikhi. Bhai Sahib talks from the heart and the speech is hard hitting.

Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti will be attending Gurdwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Bradford this Sunday (26th June 2011) at 11am to deliver a talk.
He is a well respected former Jathedar (leader) of the highest Takhat (seat) of the Panth, Sri Akaal Takhat Sahib.
He has previously been outspoken about the threats to the Khalsa Panth from the right-wing extremist Hindu organisations such as the RSS and the BJP. He was present at Sri Harmandir Sahib during operation bluestar in June 1984, and he has also voiced the need for an independent Sikh homeland – Khalistan.

We are delighted to upload Bhai Surjit Singhs keertan and katha from 14th November 2010 at GNG Bradford. We have had many requests for this particular audio file to be uploaded.
In this particular audio Bhai Sahib touches upon the qualities of Gursikhs who have had darshan, the history of Gurdwara Santokhsar, and also the benefits of simran.
