Saadh Sangat ji it is with great pleasure we are able to announce that Bhai Surjit Singh Ji has returned to the UK after an absence of 6 months. Bhai Sahib ji will be holding divaan at Guru Nanak Gurdwara every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is our benthi that all sangat take benefit of Bhai Sahibs stay and attend these divaans as much as possible. There will be more programs added to these weekly divaans.
We have added the audio from 16th August 2010, when divaan was held to mark Sangraand. Bhai Sahib throughout this divaan talks about the importance of Naam, and how we can become one with Vaheguru. Bhai Sahib also tells short saakhis about Bhagat Kabir, and Baba Farid. There is also vichaar on the message contained in the baarah maha da paath for the month of Bhaadon.

Saadh Sangat Ji, As many of you may not be aware, every Tuesday evening children from the sangat participate in the recitation of Rehraas Sahib Ji. The children are aged between 5 and 13 years old. After Rehraas Sahib Ji there is a short discussion with the children in English about Sikhi. There is also the opportunity for those interested to gain a GCSE qualification in Sikhism. Following the program in the Darbar Sahib, children have the opportunity to use the facilities provided at the BASE (the youth club associated with Gurdwara Sahib), and also the sports hall.
Below is a timetable for the event on Tuesday evenings:
5:45 – 6:00pm – Waheguru Simran.
6:00 – 6:30pm – Children recitation of Rehraas Sahib Ji.
6:30 – 6:45pm – Short discourse in english about Sikhi.
6:45 – 7:30pm – Activities in the BASE and Sports Hall.

It is a humble request that as many children as possible attend the event every Tuesday evening.
Bhai Manvir Singh Ji visited the Gurdwara in Feb 2010 and recited kirtan and also shared the Saakhi of Bhai Manjh – who was a Sikh for the time of Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
Bhai Manvir Singh Ji delivered his katha in both punjabi and english.
